The short version

Every image tool on this site runs entirely in your browser. When you drop or select a file, it is read into memory on your device using the Canvas API and processed there — it is never transmitted to our servers. HEIC → JPG and Remove Background each use a local WebAssembly model that also runs entirely on your device; the first use of either downloads that model once, which is then cached in your browser for offline reuse.

What we don't collect

• We don't store, see, or have any access to the images you process.
• We don't require an account, email address, or sign-up to use any tool.
• We don't run third-party ad trackers on tool pages.

What limited data we do collect

We use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics (page views, which tools are used) to understand which tools are useful and where the site breaks. This data contains no file contents and cannot be tied to the images you process.

AI-powered features

Tools marked "AI-Powered" or "Coming Soon" with an AI component will, once live, send only the specific content needed for that feature to an external API to generate a response. This will be the one category of tool where data leaves your device — limited to those specific tools, clearly disclosed on each tool's own page before you use it. Remove Background does not fall into this category: it runs fully on-device, the same as every other non-AI tool on this site. No AI-powered tool is live yet as of this version.
